Casio, the official partner of Red Bull Racing since 2009, has launched the limited edition Casio Edifice Red Bull Racing EQS-A1000RB watch. Offering advanced chronograph functions in a ruggedly-stylish package, this is the watch-of-choice of reigning F1 world champion and recent Singapore Grand Prix winner, Sebastian Vettel.
Casio has embellished this Edifice watch with Red Bull Racing details: The team’s logo is not only displayed prominently on the watch’s dial, the cut-out between six and ten o’clock, where the watch monitors five lap times, also features Red Bull’s red and blue colours.
Casio’s “Smart Access” system makes operating this analogue watch as convenient as that of a digital timepiece. Push and turn the crown to access any one of the EQS-A1000RB’s myriad of functions – from 1/20-second stopwatch to 29-city world time.
Some of you may be drooling at the fact that the watch also uses five motors to independently operate the hour, minute and second hands. But for the less technologically-inclined, the watch’s mechanics aren't nearly as important as its metallic good looks and race-car inspired navy-blue dial.
